Corporate Social Responsibility
"By acting responsibly and supporting the needs of our investors, governments, employees and others, we have been able to build lasting relationships with our stakeholders toward our goal of making a positive contribution to society.”
– Lionel Kambeitz, Chairman and CEO
HTC’s corporate social responsibility standards are based on policies derived from the company’s Safety Policy & Procedures. HTC understands that corporate social responsibility is not a program; it is an approach to the way HTC conducts its operations and activities. As responsible corporate citizens, we have a duty to provide a safe and secure environment for our employees and the global community. Put simply, our expectation is that no one gets hurt and nothing gets harmed.
Goals & Strategies
HTC’s goal is to work with its employees and the global community by helping to solve the challenges associated with extracting and purifying gas, liquids and biomass to reduce the environmental footprint.
HTC believes it can achieve this goal by:
- Developing and maintaining strong ties with all levels of government – We regularly meet with local, provincial and federal governments to ensure their environment protection goals are being met and/or exceeded.
- Working with industry leaders to maintain best practices – Through our strategic partnerships, HTC works to continually improve our policies in the areas of environment protection and health and safety.
